OK, I know this isn't the safest thing I've ever done, but I just wanted to THANK YOU for making the long and cold drive between Quebec and Ontario (Canada) so much more riveting and FUN! Thank you, Stockholm!

I want to thank all the Swedish (and Latvian, and Bosnian, and American) readers who came out tonight to my spontaneous flash mob gathering at a random bar in Stockholm!

Here's a lovely photo. These are some of those good souls who were tough enough to endure the snow, and brave enough to walk alone into a strange bar just to say hello…I was so touched and delighted to meet you ALL!

I know I gave you basically ZERO notice, so I was completely delighted by all who showed up.

Thank you for bringing your books and your stories and your open hearts…and for buying me a drink! (Or two. Yeah!)

This was one of the sweetest evenings ever.
